About 75 minutes

What happens, step by step

Most of a first visit is resting.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Arrive and settle

Come a few minutes early and sit in the front room. There is a cup of tea if you want one.

  2. 02

    Step 2: We talk

About 20 minutes on your health, your sleep and your week. Elnora takes notes by hand.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Treatment

You lie under a sheet or blanket while a few thin needles go in, then rest for 20 to 30 minutes.

  4. 04

    Step 4: A plan

You agree what comes next, from how often to come to what to do at home.

Before we begin

What to tell us, and what to bring

  • Tell us first

Pregnancy, blood thinners or a bleeding disorder, a pacemaker, lymph node removal on one side, and any fear of needles.

  • What you take

A list of everything you take, or the bottles. Keep taking your medicine as prescribed.

  • What to wear

Something loose that rolls up at the sleeve and the pant leg. We provide a sheet and a blanket.

  • What to eat

A light meal beforehand. Avoid coming hungry, and skip a large meal and alcohol.
